BE PREPARE! (Mark 13:24-end)

When we speak weekly exam or public exam (PMR and SPM), it brings a lot of refreshing memories like frustration for not studying early, some will be referring their notes in last minutes, other with high confidence "bring it on!"

your face being unprepared...in exam. Will you be prepared for His coming?

What does it mean?

The topic for today is not about the end of times, its about being prepared to receive the Lord. Once we receive His presence in our heart, we are to be highly expected on guard with our faith. Jesus didn't tell when the time is come or where it happen. But what matter most, what will our role as the elect to receive His reward? What does it takes to be fit in His Kingdom? There are two choices:

1. Being forgotten God's commandment and immersing ourselves to the worldly pleasure somehow called foolish. No matter how good our bible understanding and also good we are in church, if we are spiritually unprepared, ends with doom.

2. Or for those doing their best in devout to build intimacy relationship with God and to share His love to others, he/she will receive the coming of the Lord not in the sadness but great joy.

"For what is faith unless it is to believe what you do not see?"

Matthew 25: 14- 30 - Using your Talent

Ever thought yourself that you are not good enough in life? Sometimes we will reason it out why we can't do it. Sometimes we will use a lot of excuses to reason the things we couldn't do. What more to say if the duties is either simple or hard to do.

The same stories goes with the "Parables of the Talents" where the third servants were given the least of talents yet could not do it because of a lot excuses.

What is the talents all about?

The talents is no single coin. A talent worth $840,000 USD. So we can see that the amount is enough to run a business which the Masters asked to the three servants in the Master's Home. But our main focus today why would the third servant called wicked and lazy by his Master?

Third Servant: Wicked and Lazy..it could be us as well.

Like it or not we are no big different to the third servant. We are born gifted by God. Some of us gifted to have a good talent in musical instruments, athletic life or others. However the sad part is, we often shy off with our gifts. Why? We love reasoning something, we comparing ourself to other and also simply saying "i am not good than any other people, why would i bother it?".

We are created not to compare and giving excuse. Be in mind we are perfected by Christ both inside and out of our imperfection. Even the birds sings does not mean they are professional singer!

So the challenge is here, will you use your "talent" to glorify God's name or "buried" it?
